Dinamo Zagreb look to be in good shape after winning the first playoff game in their Champions League tie against Slovenia's Maribor 2-1 at the Maksimir Stadium. Milan badelj led to Zagreb with two goals ... but one of them was an own goal, so I expect that he will want to forget that one. It is the home of victory and lead to Zagreb, but there is a job to be down for the Blues next week.
Zagreb got the scoring started early in the 10 minute thanks to Duje COP.
The initial shot from distance in the field are rejected from all over to the right and run by Domagoj Vida. Maribor looked better and better as the half progressed, but were canceled after the defensive focus, allowing that redeemed himself in Badel second half. The winner of the match came as the Zagreb captain made a great run from midfield to get on the end of COP is ideally weighted pass and beat Jasmin Handanovic with a hard low shot.
